Analysis

1.       Do you think the teacher’s learning objectives was appropriately assessed by your test items?

Yes, each domain of learning that was selected in the objectives of the teacher was appropriately distributed from the test items. In the test 1 it is a multiple type of test wherein all of the choices are closely related so that the distracters in the choices are appealing in the eye of the students so we can see easily those students who read and understand the lesson. In the test 2 it is true or false, in this objective type of test it is sad to say that there were students who usually made guess but in this type of test the question will stand as second question for the test 1 so we can see if the student really made guess. And in the test 3 essay, as a teacher we have to look up how these students internalize the value of the lesson or the topic in their lives.

2.       Why do you have to study the teacher’s learning objectives prior to developing an assessment tool?

In making an assessment tool it is not appropriate by just making a test without any basis or goal. As a teacher we have to prepare the so called learning objectives so that this will stand as our target for our students on what are the things they should understand in the lesson that will be discuss. Now, the teacher has his learning objectives, we have to study his goal for his students so that we are able to make an appropriate assessment tool prior to his learning objectives. It is important to study his learning objectives because this will serve as our basis in making assessment so that we know what type of assessment will be given to the students.

Reflection
Write your personal reflection of thoughts and feelings regarding Peace Concept on Focus. Share your reflection with your FS teacher and classmates.

As a teacher it is part of our job to be fair among all students. We should create an atmosphere wherein unbiased and subjectivity is free inside the classroom. We have to make an assessment that is equal and fair to all the students, we should set a criteria for judging that is equal and be useful to all the students that will be use for assessment that whatever the outcome of the test we have no right to change their score just because we hate that student. We must have peace also to ourselves so this would reflect to our commitment with our students.
